Going on dates has been an adventure since keadryn was born...not that it has been awful, just different than before because we are not planners. Dating, previously, was a random and sporadic event and we both really enjoyed it that way. Now that we have to plan a date at least a week in advance to get a babysitter, dates have been scarce. This past Friday we decided we really wanted to go on a date. Unfortunately, a friend of ours was having a party and every babysitter we knew was invited. Not to be defeated Drew and I slipped Kead into her jammies, grabbed some toys & some Sonic and headed to the drive-in movie theater. It only costs 5 dollars person (babies are free) for a double feature movie. We baby proofed the back seat of the car and laid the seats down so that Keadryn could play while we watched 10,000 B.C. and then rocked her to sleep and put her down in her car seat right as the second movie (Fools Gold) came on. It wasn't quite as romantic as dates in the past, but we had a great-sporadic-time and will be doing it again in the future!
